"It was a Life - Threatening"

In Cincinnati Zoo a gorilla was shot dead after a four years old boy fell into gorilla's cage. A young boy climbed a barrier and fell into the cage which the "400lb (180kg) gorilla was kept in. The Zookeepers shot the gorilla also known as Harambe. However, the boy who fell in the cage is expected to recover. The Cincinnati Zoo is temporarily closed after the incident happened. A video was captured by people, who, were at the zoo at the time of incident. The video shows that the boy had fallen into case about 10ft, and then dragged through shallow by the gorilla. According to the report that Harambe a 17 years old male western lowland, dragged the kid around his case for about 10 minutes. After the gorilla was shot dead, the young boy was taken and rush to the nearest hospital, and it's believed that he will recover fast. However, the Zoo director Thane Maynard said "(The Officials) made a tough choice and they made the right choice because they saved that little boy's life. It could have been very bad." He then stated that a tranquilizer might have bot had a quick enough effect and won't make it in time to save the kid. But the kid was not under attack, he was certainly at risk. Thane also added to his testimony "We are all devastated that his tragic accident resulted in the death of  critically-endangered gorilla. This is a huge loss for the zoo family and the gorilla population worldwide."

This incident is truly sad, also at the at same year a two lions ware shot dead in zoo in Chile after a man, attempting to commit suicide, he enter their pen. In kind of similar incident a five years old kid fell into a gorilla's cage in the island of Jersey in 1986 and the young boy lost consciousness when a gorilla called Jambo stood guard him and protected him from the others gorilla. The fact that animals either get hurt or easily get to be killed to save the life of humans, even for a man who is attempting committing suicide, is something worthy to think about. Lets not forget that the human being, who, made the gorilla's cage. If they made it properly, the boy wouldn't fell down and the Zookeepers won't shot the gorilla, which is innocent and also healthy animals, only because we are afraid of them in their natural way.
