"Three-day battle between army and ISIS - linked Maute insurgents for city on island of mindanao has left at least 46 dead."
An ISIS attack at Marawi City, Philippines. Jan Yamit, a 23- years - old health worker, watch in CCTV monitor a live feed of gunmen in the hospital lobby. He watch in horror as on militants shot a police officer and then shot then the security guard, and then they move around the building. Jan Yamit explain, what he was feeling and what really happen. He said “I can’t explain what I was feeling. I was nervous. I am pissed by
those kinds of people. They kill defenceless people,” He and his brother, who were working during this event, they're a lift operator of the building. they sneak a room to another and they eventually find a wooden plank. They use wooden plank as a bridge from the third floor to a neighbour building. Also Jan Yamint said "Those who were killed were Christian." Since this event happen at least 46 people, 15 of them are members of security forces and the rest was a militants, they been kill in the battle in Marawi. the Philippines president, Rodrigo Duterte, cut short his visit to Russia to protect his country from the ISIS. He declare a martial law in Mindanao the lower part of the Philippines. Also he also declare bloodshed. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 Duterte said "If there's an open defiance, you will die," and also he said "if it means many people dying so be it." the military launch a botch raid on Tuesday to capture one of the leader of Abu Sayyaf ( a terrorist group), Isnilon Hapilon. Also the military confirm that isnilo Hapilon already join the Maute, another ISIS- link insurgent group.
A terrorist attack been going on around the world especially in part of Europe. I never though that they will go all the way to the Philippines. People been wondering specially myself, what's their plan, why do they do this attack in the Marawi Philippines, most of the people living their, are the same religion as them. However, in the other hand, Duterte declare martial law in Mindnao(lower part of the Philippines). The first martial law in the Philippines was declare by President Marcus on 1972 and ended on 1981. During the that time, people in the Philippines was safe and quiet. Marcus decided to end the martial law when he knows the Philippines are safe from the chaos, would President Duterte do the same thing like President Marcus did? or would he just end the martial law, when this war finish in Marawi?
